"As a healer, I started off by making different herbal mixtures as gifts for my family and friends. These blends came in the forms of teas, cough syrups and poems with the intention to rejuvenate any health ailment by soothing life's stressors. In the summer of 2015, my partner ask me to create something for his eczema. With his gift of 25lbs of shea butter, recycled baby food jars & handwritten tags Goddess Butter was born.

about jazz
Jazz Hudson currently resides in Oakland, CA where she serves as an emergency credential teacher, residency-teaching artist in several Bay Area schools and Organizations. Jazz leads and designs curriculum that utilizes oral traditions such as Spoken Word, Storytelling, personal narrative,and Hip –Hop as means for youth to reclaim their voice and define themselves through writing.
